GRAMOPHONE off Vitosha Blvd: the Rhythm of Sofia

About the space
Steps away from famous Vitosha Blvd and the starting point of the city walking tours Gramophone is in the center of it all: landmarks, cafes, restaurants, nightlife, city tours, etc.
It overlooks a quiet backyard and features fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, a comfortable queen size bed, bathroom, lovely mountain view, and loads of artistic vibes.

Situated on the 6th floor (no lift!) of a commercial building just off famous Vitosha Blvd, Gramophone is surprisingly peaceful and quiet.
As you enter through the hallway you reach a dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen with all types of household utensils and kitchen appliances.
Walk through a doorway and you enter a very tastefully decorated wide space with wooden beams and a brick wall including two very comfy queen size bed, wardrobe, two armchairs, records player, and LED lighting wall panel.
If you haven’t already, you will notice all the Gramophone signature elements and feel those artistic vibes plus you will appreciate the lighting.
And my favorite part is the view through the windows… city rooftops and national palace of culture, painted on a canvas provided by the mountains.
Needless to say, Gramophone has unlimited fast Wi-Fi, cable TV, Air conditioning, coffee machine, refrigerator, washer and a record player that actually works. Try my records selection!.

Gramophone is in the midst of it all. If you need to go somewhere far from the city center you can take the metro or a taxi. Reaching Gramophone from the airport is a piece of cake: take the metro to the central station Serdika and walk along Vitosha blvd for 6mn. Details to follow upon booking.
Walk out of the building, turn left, make 10 steps. You are on Vitosha Blvd – the most famous street in Bulgaria, full of cafes, restaurants and bars. Then if you go right and cross the street you will reach the starting point of the city walking tours in about 30 seconds. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is probably the farthest landmark you will need to get to – walking time is 14mn.

Great experience! The location is amazing at the heart of Sofia. Building entrance could be cleaner. Great host, highly recommend!

Apartment in the city centre, very nice location and worth the money. Stoyan instruction to find the place were very accurate. For the money we paid we got a good Airbnb.

Fine for a few days and reasonably well maintained but 6 floors no lift & no air conditioning in bedroom + shower ridiculously small & under the roofs so super hot in summer. Also only ONE PAN in the kitchen - what can one do with just one pan?
